If only Robinson Crusoe knew how to dive...
We went to one of the most remote diving spots still left untouched: Robinson Crusoe Island. We went diving with Endemica Expeditions who run a diving station/shop and school on this remote island and are also the Ecotourism Operator on Robinson Crusoe. Robinson Crusoe island has all the ingredients for a real off-the-beaten-track dive trip. The tranquility of the place and kindness of its people are rarely found anymore and the views from the mountains and the variety of the marine life are spectacular...

Diver's Tale this month is from the waters surrounding an island called Pico, part of the Azores group of islands in the Atlantic where fish life is abundant due to the Gulf Stream passing just north of the islands, mixing Atlantic and tropical fish. Scuba diving is among the best in the world here, despite (or because!) the cold Atlantic conditions. Yet, the Azores are rated as the new discovery in the diving business. Most diving locations guarantee an encounter with the big fishes of the Atlantic and offer spectacular lava formations.

Michele is one half of the Howard Hall Production team and travels all over the world to make film such as "Island of the Shark", a IMAX film they shot in Cocos Island.
